The mission of the Kingman County Sheriffs Office is to assure a safe environment for the community and to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of Kingman County, Kansas. We will uphold the law fairly and firmly, pursue and bring to justice those who break the law, to keep the peace, prevent crime, and help reassure the citizens we serve with integrity, common sense and sound judgment. Our office is investigating (2) incidents with missing calves and we are asking for your help with any information.

First incident, SE Kingman County with approximately 13 calves reported missing. Deputy Cory Pierce has taken this report and any information should be forwarded to him.

Second incident, NW Kingman County with approximately 37 calves reported missing. Deputy Matthew Purcell has taken this report and any information should be forwarded to him.

Additional resources provided by the Kansas Department of Agriculture Livestock Brand Program. Special Agent Jim Pinegar is assisting. Jim can be contacted at 785-207-8733.

Please be on the look out and report any suspicious activity. Thank you for your assistance.

Im missing a Holstein heifer calf too! By midway kingman county and need to file a report too!

Please provide descriptions…we have no way of knowing what to look for in case they show up at a sale barn. Weights, colors, etc.

*** Update*** Hazmat is on scene and the road will be closed overnight to finish the cleanup *** A single vehicle rollover accident with a semi carrying diesel has closed SW 90 Ave between SW 60 St and SW 70 St on the Zenda blacktop.
